Half-fish man, emulating his ancient Godzillan Kaiju ancestors. Will he win the latest WWE match, and bring honour to his kaiju folk?

The half-fish man (Japanese: 半漁人, hangyou jin; also known as Devil Lake Bahama) is a cumbersome monster that prowls the moat of the castle in "Knaked Knights". The castle's guardians feed their prisoners to be eaten by the half-fish man, but they manage to escape. The half-fish man also appears in a children's superhero show, "Big Bad Beetleborgs", in the episode "Something Fishy" (魚のようなナニ♂か) as "Swamp Scumoid", a generic monster with foul breath whom three superheroes defeat.

Role in Gachimuchi Edit

He is occasionally used in Gachimuchi videos for humorous purposes, either in trundling about or floating and relaxing on water.

Trivia Edit

  • He was played by Matt Westmore in "Knaked Knights" and by David Mallow in "Big Bad Beetleborgs".
  • He can be seen again in two Nico Nico Douga videos documenting the episodes of his appearance in "Beetleborgs": "【半漁人】ビッグ・バッド・ビートルボーグ"
  • Strangely, despite being an aquatic creature, the half-fish man is bipedal, and thus does not have a very hydrodynamic shape that is adapted to swimming in water. He might be more fitting for a wetland habitat, somewhat like a reptilian frog.
